2024 #Resolute Expedition

10,000 nautical miles of citizen science oceanography

We will set sail on the unique scientific expedition on June 25th from Longyearbyen, Svalbard. This is after sailing different voyages around Svalbard the previous months.

We will conduct various experiments and tests during the expedition to find out how the condition of the Arctic Ocean is. With Jim McNeill, as our expedition leader, and Rasmus N. Jacobsen, as our captain, we will measure the sea ice, pollution, amounts of polar bears and much more.

Joining us onboard, means that you are welcome to help sail the ship and also to be part of the science projects.

#Foundation Expedition

Two Expeditions of 10 days - Exploring the Islands of Svalbard

Covering a distance of 2,000 to 4,000 nautical miles, this extraordinary expedition will push the limits of our oceanographic scientific data gathering abilities and will be conducted using wind power.

Led by renowned explorer Jim McNeill, our #Foundation Expedition will include key scientists, journalists, naturalists, digital content and film makers, as well as a select number of citizen scientists who will be trained to sail professionally and contribute directly to climate science.
