Activities onboard

Sail Training.

Linden has a long history as a sail training ship in Baltic sea, training young seafarers and competing in tall ships races around Europe. Combined with the captain´s extensive years of experience, both in terms of sailing and teaching onboard of traditional tall ships, you will get an exceptionally fun and challenging experience. The crew is not that numerous, so we are dependent on your help with the sails if we are to travel by the wind as we strive for. You will quickly see how energetic the crew and captain become once we hoist the sails.

Hiking ashore.

We spend a lot of time, hiking along the coast and exploring the Arctic landscape. We will make stops at interesting historical relics, geographic formations, or rare Arctic botany. Along the way, we often run into terrestrial mammals such a reindeer, muskox and Arctic Fox and we will stop to observe how these highly specialized animals search the Arctic dessert for food.

Exploring habitats and species

Our zodiacs are the perfect platform to explore the coastal scenery in the Arctic fjords, allowing us to move smoothly around icebergs on the lookout for marine mammals and bird life.
